Patrick Stewart

Patrick Stewart is an Co-owner and operator of Universal Elevators with twenty years of experience working in the elevator trade with a major transportation company. Patrick has experience in most areas of the trade. Including but not limited to installation, repairs, maintenance, testing, inspection, training as well as management. Patrick is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Patrick is inspired daily by his wife and their son. In his free time, Patrick likes to read and exercise.


Angel St. Jean

Angel is a systems thinker committed to achieving equitable economic outcomes for people who have been disadvantaged in our economic system. Throughout her career, she has honed the skills and experience needed to design, lead, and manage systems-level changes that scale impact.  

Angel counts her personal life experience and her work as a community organizer as key to her ability to design solutions that reflect the needs and realities of people who have been disadvantaged in our current systems. At the same time, her work with corporate leaders across multiple industries has sharpened her ability to support companies in achieving their goals of being impactful corporate citizens while achieving top and bottom-line goals. Angel has also led systems change efforts in Philadelphia and Baltimore; developed policy at the national, state, and local levels; developed and managed human capital development programs and has evaluated workforce, economic development, and financial empowerment programs across the country.  

Most recently, Angel served as the Assistant Director for Strategic Initiatives with the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development in Baltimore where she led the agency’s effort to build a citywide, coordinated workforce system and managed the Baltimore Workforce Development Board. Today Angel is the co-founder and CEO of The Black Brain Trust (TBBT), where she created a patent-pending methodology for measuring equity in companies. TBBT packaged this methodology into a scoring tool and business intelligence software that enables individual and corporate citizens to take data-driven actions that create a more equitable companies that create a more equitable world.  

Angel is also an avid reader, design enthusiast and data nerd. When she’s not changing the world, she enjoys sleeping in on Saturdays, red wine, and park-hopping with her family. 


Tony Roberts

Tony Roberts has pioneered workforce development in the Vertical Transportation spaces by creating careers for promising young men and women looking to enter the elevator industry. Tony offers over twenty years of mechanical and electrical expertise working with commercial elevators and escalators. Tony offers his knowledge to the students of Phase 3 Training by establishing new best practices in safety, equipment identification, and gaining confidence in becoming an elevator mechanic. Tony is also co-owner of Universal Elevator Services, LLC and volunteers in community workforce projects.


Ciara Huff

Ciara M. Huff is a Baltimore native who has a passion for serving the community. She holds a B.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a minor in Human Development, and an M.A. in Legal & Ethical Studies and M.S. in Negotiations & Conflict Management from the University of Baltimore. 

Ms. Huff is the Executive Director of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Baltimore. In this role, she manages a team of 5 staff members and 90 volunteer advocates, oversees the annual operating budget, and fosters relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
